[from Cliff V.]
A group of us are working on a presentation for an upcoming zoning hearing. We are trying to compile a list of all the social services, group homes, free clinics, and subsidized housing in the Columbia Heights/Park View/Petworth area into a map. Such a list does not currently exist, so we need the help of all of our neighbors. We ask that they either post a comment or email myself or Terra Weirich the name, address and function of anything that this map is missing. All entries will be further validated by DCRA so we can be sure the map is complete and accurate.
The current draft of the map is here.
What is the purpose for compiling this information? What points/concerns are you hoping to raise?
