With all this rain, it should be a very muddy race with lots of crashes. I hope to make it up there by 1 or 2.

It says
"Race proceeds will be donated to benefit the veterans at the AFRH."
I have not personally, seen a Cyclocross race but I heard they are great for spectators. Apparently there will be a professional class that will race. The course is two miles and they Pros will race to see who can do the most laps in 60 mins. There should be lots of crashes and multiple points along the course to view the race.

Does the AFRH make money on this? Is this an example of the place finding revenue sources without further development?
