Lead-free garden hoses

Ok, so this is one of those slow-news-month posts I guess. I just went online and ordered a new hose after learning that many ordinary garden hoses can leach lead into the water. Is this common knowledge? This after drenching some new grass seed daily over the last couple weeks...

Click here for info and links to eco-friendly hoses that are even safe to drink from. Assuming there are no bugs in there.
