Clark ES beautification

Petworth neighbors: I hope you’ve received emails or flyers or read news stories about back-to-school beautification day, Saturday 8/25, at all the DC public schools.

I’ll be at Clark Elementary, launching two small rain-garden, landscaping projects, and could use some help. A few people handy with shovels for starters. And if anyone has drought-tolerant or shade-loving plants they want to get rid off, please let me know. We have room for both. I’ll be at Clark (7th and Allison) from about 8am to noon Saturday.

I hope everybody has been checking out the new football/soccer field/running track at Roosevelt. It almost makes me want to start jogging.

Carol doesn't list a time, but the DCPS website says that Clean-Up Day runs from 8 am-1 pm.
