Add one for March....

These prices are certainly a good sign for Petworth. With the market being the way it is, I see this as a good sign. Prices have held steady and gradually increased even with the increased supply in the area. Just look at how fast the lower price houses are coming off the market. The house on Ga Ave sold in less than 10 days.

I don't know about 'wildly high', at least these days. Seems more like holding steady, a few high-enders, some in the 300 to 400k+ range. I notice some are selling for less than asking price. With all the houses on the market in Petworth (and there are tons), if I were a buyer I'd underbid on a few places and see what happens. Definitely seems like esp. the pricey renovations are sitting around a lot longer on the market than even last year.

Yeeow!
I dunno about the prices "looking good"...they DO look wildly expensive. I have friends trying to buy something - ANYTHING - to live in and this sort of price list is just so depressing. Yeah, I suppose I benefit, to a degree, but man oh man, that piper has gotta be paid somewhere down the line...cause he ALWAYS gets paid!

Those prices look pretty good to me. The price for the house on GA Ave seems low until you consider the condition of the property.
