Youth violence followup

Ronald Moten of Peaceaholics and others who've been working to counter youth violence will host a meeting this Wednesday, April 12, at 7pm at the ROC North (Regional Operations Command building), 801 Shepherd Street NW.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss recent events in Petworth and to review recent efforts.

For newcomers and people who've never been there, the ROC North is the Metropolitan Police-managed, red brick, schoolhouse-looking building on Shepherd Street NW at 8th Street NW, a block east of Georgia Avenue. (The building somehow lacks numbers on it indicating its address - odd for a public building.)
