New 4C07 commissioner

At last night's Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4C meeting, Ward 4 Councilmember Adrian Fenty swore-in Shanel Anthony (with his mother at left) as the new commissioner for Single Member District 4C07. See the Maps section in the left sidebar for ANC 4C's district boundaries.

Mr. Anthony, 25, got his MBA from Bryant University in Rhode Island, where he also played football. He is a Petworth native and will be a great addition to a commission that is slowly but surely finding its footing after some difficult years.
