Running group update

We are now set with five people (of varying speeds) to go for our first run on Wednesday Oct. 12th at 6:00am. We'll be meeting at 7th & Upshur, please feel free to join us!

It was a great, misty run this morning! For those of you who did the out-and-back to Colorado Ave, it was 3.4 miles total.

A few of us were talking about meeting up again tomorrow morning [Thur 10/13] at 6am on 7th & Upshur -- please let me know if you want to join us. I was thinking of the following 4.5 miler (compliments of Wendy!):

ROUTE: Go up Upshur toward the Old Soldiers' Home, then across North Capitol and run down Taylor. Follow the veer right at the stoplight by the shopping plaza. Turn right at the bottom of the hill. This takes you past CUA dorms. Follow to Michigan. Right on Michigan & follow Michigan across N Cap, by the hospital complex, & to the Irving-Warder area.

I’m up for doing a different route if anyone has a suggestion. Let me know if you’re interested so we know who to wait for.
