I've heard that in separate incidents in the last few days, two cars have crashed into Grant Circle. When will the Park Service consider some kind of barrier or reflective signage, at least for northbound traffic on New Hampshire Avenue?

The lights are on a timer that doesn't work well every now and then. Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, I will bring this to the attention of the National Park Service. The last time this happened the Park Service was prompt in fixing the problem.

During the night, the nights are never on at Grant Circle. The lights needs to be turned on at Grant Circle.

I've lived near Grant Circle for years. Once I parked my beloved old red Toyota on the circle, as there was construction on my street. I found it the next day, along with two other cars parked nearby, smashed and ruined. Someone left an unsigned note with the hit and run driver's tag number so insurance covered the damage. Yes, the driver was drunk at the time, enough that she ran into three cars.

WOW!
It seems like something should be done there.
I guess the good thing is that it seems to collect the drunks before they are able to get into my area.
