[from Erik Lundgren]
The Higher Achievement Program is looking for volunteer mentors for our After-School Academy.
The Higher Achievement Program is a year-round, academic enrichment program for academically motivated 5th-8th graders. We provide our scholars with homework help, dinner, art and dance studios, and most importantly academic Teaching Mentors.
We need MENTORS!
When you volunteer with Higher Achievement, you mentor a small group of intellectually curious 5th- 8th graders once a week from 6pm-8pm in math, literature, or technology. We provide the Neighborhood Achievement Center, the challenging curricula, the training, and the support. You provide the commitment and the enthusiasm.
Be a MENTOR!
The Ward 4 Center is located at Paul Public Charter School on 8th St NW and Missouri Ave.
