Abol "A Taste of Ethiopia" Restaurant and Market recently opened at 4422 Georgia Avenue. We had their Awaze Tibbs (very spicy) one night and it was so good, we had to go back for more a few nights later. Sit-down dining is available as well as carryout and Abol has great selection of coffees. It's a great addition to the neighborhood and yet another dining option.
Does anybody know anything or have anything to say about the Hallal Market at the NW corner of Georgia and Webster? Just spotted it last night while traveling Northbound on Georgia and am thinking about checking it out tomorrow.

Tried it last night, the food was good and the owner was nice. Similar problem as Moroni's, the lighting left a lot to be desired, sort of the bright dentist office look. She said they agreed and were hoping to change that.
They've actually been open for several months. Full props, the owner said a guy was in there a while ago taking pictures for another website. She described our man PoP to a t ;).
